Excitement!

I have had a blog for a very long time. I have finally rubbed off on my family. Selena has started one. Gabriela, has started a second one, I think she forgot the password for the first one, and Mom has after a year finally posted again!

This means I better get my butt in gear and start posting more!

I'm still in California, and I'm still unemployed, but it's all OK because I'm going HERE this weekend!

I'm back.......

Well hopefully. I just haven't kept up much with my blog since moving. Strange. I thought I would be blogging much more since I'm so far away. I went to Texas for Christmas and now I'm back in California.

I really really really love this coat!! I think I look Lovely in it!! One of the buttons fell off when I got back from Texas but someone in California that thinks I'm swell, sewed it back on for me! :)
Ashley's birthday was the 19th. She informed me when I moved here that this was "all about Ashley day." I stayed up until after she went to sleep and put notes all around the house. Well my intention was all around the house but they all ended up in her room. I put a big one on the mirror that said "Happy Birthday Ashley I love you-love Amber" then there was one inside the medicine cabinet that said Happy Birthday and one in the drawer where she keeps her make-up one the room with the toilet and one in the closet. She enjoyed hunting them down.
She always wants to eat a Jack in the Box and Chilli's on her birthday. We met the boys for Lunch at Chilli's and then did some shopping, went by Priscilla's and watched a movie. Then for dinner we ate Jack in the Box. I made sure I was extra nice that day. Here is a Picture from lunch.

Ashley's friend Priscilla has 5 kids. I have pretty much adopted the youngest 3 since moving here. Alianna is about to turn a year old, Christian is 5, and Angie is 8. I was at the house one day when Angie came home from school and said she was going on a field trip. I asked if people could go as helpers. She said yes and wanted me to go so I did. It was so fun. I didn't ride the bus. I made a sack lunch and left it in my car, I was so hungry after the field trip. We went to the Western Science Museum. We learned about the water cycle, why there are not dinosaur bones in California, and about the fossils that were found and what paleontologist and archaeologist do.
The kids got to be archaeologist and dig for fossils in the lab. It was pretty neat. They also made fossils in another part and looked at different stuff. Then we ate our lunch and the kids went back to school and I came home. It was a fun day and makes me excited to have kids and get to help out at their schools someday in the future.

I'm still on the hunt for a job, and I'm hopeful something will come about real soon.

My days

My days consit of sleeping in till way past 10, I wake email/FB, eat, shower and usually have nothing else to do so I nap. Yup I'm usually not even sleepy I just have nothing to do so I lay down and before I know it I'm out as if I was actually sleepy.

I have pretty much stopped looking for a job until I get back from Texas, everything seems to be seasonal. I hear the job market should pick up in January. Can you say a prayer, please?

I'm pretty much down to enough money to live for the next couple of months so extra spending is just out of the question. Which forces me to stay home and be bored.

I know that one day I will be so busy I will look back and say why did I not treasure these days but for now I would actually like to stab myself I'm so bored!

Today I woke up around 9:30 and cleaned with Ashley cause Mimi is coming, Today I have been occupied so I will stay alive at least one more day! :)

No really does mean no this year.

I think every year I say I'm not sending Christmas cards and then I end up doing it anyways. I just love Christmas cards. I love getting them and I love even more trying to come up with a cool picture to put in mine. Since I don't have kids I have to be a little clever.

This year I will be in Texas the 16th- 6th. No time to send cards. I also have no money. :( I would not even be able to buy stamps. :(

I still would love to get cards from everyone else. I do understand no send no get, but just maybe you will take pity on me and send one anyways. :)

I can't believe it either

Yup, I went and saw New Moon today. I know I still can't believe it either. I haven't read any of the books and only saw some of the first movie when the kids or someone else was watching it. I was reading in the people magazine the other day that Dakota Fanning was in New Moon and I really like her so I thought I would maybe watch it.

Today a friend called and asked if I would take her 13 year old to see it because she has little ones and couldn't. She bought my ticket and I went and I took a friend with me who did read the books.

I got in the theatre and after waiting in a huge line, and when the previews were over the screaming started, and there was more when Jacob took off his shirt.

SPOILER ALERT!

I was a little sad that Dakota Fanning was only in the movie for maybe 10 minutes and it was near the end.
There were lots of people saying "NO" and "WHAT" at the end.

SPOILER ALERT OVER! (wasn't a very big spoiler was it?)

All in all it was a good movie. I'm not into the whole vampire scene and get a little confused, but I liked the movie.

On another note there were some great previews! I think When in Rome, Dear John, and Dear Juliet (or something like that) will be good movies!

Texas here I come

I bought tickets to go home for Christmas, but not just Christmas I will be there new years too! I will be the 21 days!! I'm more than thrilled.

I'm going to organize myself with a calender of where and who I will be with everyday. Make your reservations quick!

Then I'm coming back to California and taking any job I can get. I need money!
