One stop morning shop!

I find this very funny! I drive by this sign every Monday on my way to class in McKinney. I finally took a picture today. I just find it funny that you can get Donuts the same place you get your guns!

Teeth

I went to the dentist today. I have no cavities. I do have very sensitive teeth. The hygienist painted fluoride on in hopes to take away some of the sensitiveness. Go back in 6 months. My mouth feels so nice a clean! :)

Papers, back, and tickets

I am overly stressed right now. It usually happens at the end of every semester. I am just OVERWHELMED right now. I have a research paper to write it is due May 1st. Yes I knew about it a long time ago but I waited till the last minute. I also have a group project due in another class around the same time. Only thing is my group and I are just not really doing all that great. I'm starting to get nervous. This project is 65% of our grade. YAH! That is a whole lot. Of course on top of those items I still have other school work...the normal stuff due.

My back has begun to hurt again only this time it is not only when I sit and then get up, or when I first sit down. It is a constant pain regardless of what I am doing. My friend suggested that it was PMS now and that is why it is hurting so bad. I'm not sure what it is but I tell you I'm in some pain. I need it to go away cause I do not have the time to be hurting I have to much to do.

Oh so I got a speeding ticket back in February or January I think. Anyway, I have to do defensive driving before June 9th. I hate defensive driving. I try not to speed but my car just likes to go fast! :)

Alex is playing baseball one day soon I will be able to attend a game. I think he is going to play football again this year.

The end is near....

The end of this semester that is. Yes the end of the spring semester is here. I hate this time of the semester because I become incredibly stressed. All the last minute projects and papers are due. Then you have the finals coming up. I'm just getting so stressed.

I'm trying to work on my part of my group project right now and it is about to make me have a mental breakdown cause I have no clue what I am doing. Hopefully my group can expand on my crappy writing and gain us an A!

Even though this semester is ending my schooling is still not over. I actually will be taking summer classes and fall then next spring should be my last semester. I sure hope it is. If I can bring my GPA up some I may continue on after that Masters degree in hope of making lots of money!

Yummy Ranch

The other night we had mexican food take-out and put some ranch on Addisyn's plate. She loved it.....well playing in it. Her dad was at work and she liked saying Hi to him on the camera.

Another attempt to cook

I tried to make pancakes last night. Here is my finished product.

That does not look tasty and it was not I took one bite and dumped it in the trash. I will just have to go to IHOP for pancakes.

Reason # 246 Why I'm not married.....I can not cook. :) I hope I find a man that likes take-out.

Burning down the house

I have never claimed to be a good cook and after yesterday I don't think I ever will. I can make enough food for myself to eat I can follow directions a little. However I will NEVER be a Chef.

Yesterday I was hungry and I decided to cook some ramen noodles. Simple. I turned on the burner and put my pan of water on the stove. While waiting for it to boil (a watched pot never boils) I went to the restroom.....#2. While in there Jana yells "Amber are you cooking something?" This question drives me insane because she will ask me that or say "I smell it, I think it is done." Sometimes I get oh that is up to high, you need to turn it down. There are lots. I have just given up on cooking for her or with her. Anyway she asked I said yes and that was that. Then all of a sudden we heard the smoke alarm so I hurried as fast as I could to "finish" and wash my hands. Then ran out into the smoke filled kitchen to notice that I had turned on the wrong burner, and some how the plastic spoon rest had gotten on the front burner and melted half way. After getting the smoke out and then turning the right burner on made my noodles and ate them. Making the comment to Jana saying the dumb stove needs to say "Front" and "Back." She says "There is a picture." I don't feel the picture is good enough.

Shelby comes home ask about the smell, we tell her. She taste my noodles. Wants some of her own. Turns on the wrong burner and re-melts what had already dried. Again I say "The stove needs to say Front and Back."

I did it!!

A few post ago I put up pictures of my new phone. Then I put a post about how I could not get music on the dang thing. BUT...I figured it out!!! Hooray! I'm so excited! Tonight I went to Target (one of my favorite stores) and bought a port thing that allowed me to get music on my phone. I must say it is pretty darn neat!

While at Target, there was this worker guy and I saw him in the electronics. He asked me if I needed any help and I asked him if I had gotten the right thing. Then I saw him later in the food then I was up front and looking at something on an end cap he came up and said "Are you ready to check-out." Then he was my cashier. I guess Target employees just work everywhere. I felt bad cause I was on the phone with my Mom the whole time I was in Target. Well not the whole time but pretty close. I was one of the rude people that talked on the phone while paying for my stuff.

Tomorrow I have the day off of work which is pretty cool cause I was suppose to go to a meeting in Mckinney but it has been canceled and my shift was already covered. Guess I will use those 5 hours to work on my research paper that is due pretty soon.

Tonight I talked to my friend Leslie who I haven't talked to in about a week or so. Actually I think it has been two. I also talked to my cousin Ashley and my Mom. I haven't talked to either of them in awhile. Oh and last night I talked to my dad. Its crazy it was just catch-up day today and yesterday!

I lost 7lbs!

Yahoo! The no high fructose syrup is working. I weighed today like I do every Wednesday and I have lost 7 pounds! YES that's right 7, 7 whole freaking pounds can you believe it. I can't!!! :)
