I really am just old
I was looking on the internet to see if I could locate the problem with my back. Maybe I could find something that would show the areas of your back then I could pin point the area that hurts and maybe it would say this is the possible reason for your pain. I always have in my mind what I want to find but never find that.
Anyway, on one of the sites I looked at it said reason for back pain, and then things you could do. This is what I found....
"This condition may be caused by injury, but more often results from the normal wear and tear of aging. Sometimes it causes no pain and sometimes it does."
There it is....I am having pain because.......I'M JUST OLD!

Pain in the back
I am having the worst pain in my back the last week or so. I do not know what is wrong. I don't have the best posture but I think this may be something else. I'm no longer sick so I will be returning to the gym on Tuesday after class, maybe that will help. My entire body hurt yesterday and today. I work 18 hours the past 2 days that is 18 hours of standing on my feet! I know a little of the pain is from that but my back has been hurting much longer. When I stand up I look and walk like an 80 year old woman and with every step I say "ouch, oh, oh, ouch!"

So sad.....
I didn't even know the writer strike had ended, but I found an article today that said it had somewhere around mid February. Which is great because now they are all going to be eager to begin writing again. Not only are there going to be GREAT books out soon, but some really good shows also. I checked out the Greys Anatomy website to see if it linked any kind of info about the next new show. I didn't think that if they have not been writing in 2 months that they will have to write, learn, then tape the episodes. Meaning it will be LATE April before new episodes will start. :( What a bummer, the season will almost be over.

rate my professor
I have learned that when I register for classes to check the rate my professor website and see what others have said before registering for a class with that teacher.
I'm trying to find a class to take in the may mini semester. Last night I looked up what classes I could take then looked up the teacher.
There was one teacher that did not get a very big score and lots of the comments said she needed to retire and that she still used the overhead instead of power point. The funniest thing was that it said something about her flipping out at the class because she thought they were trying to attack her or something! ha!
Guess i will wait and try to take that class with a diffent teacher!

Pictures
Here are pictures from when we were in San Antonio.
This is my baby Aleigh while we were waiting to meet the coaches. I wanted to take pictures of her but she wouldn't let me so I had to get them of her with her team as they played some game. She is the sweet one letting her friend in the game.
Here she is after her big win, again she wouldn't let me take a picture, I held the camera down and was talking to her as I snapped it. See that leather jacket, thats what it is all about. only 1st place gets that!
Here is brie. This was on the riverwalk. If you look real close in the right corner is the bag that belongs to the homeless man that was sleeping on a bench. there was one on the left also. it was hard to crop them out of the camera's view! ha!
and alex in the car he doesn't like to have pictures taken so I rarely get any of him. He is so cute!
Here is all of them at the rainforest cafe! What cuties they are!

A not so normal day
A normal day at work consist of taking a prescription, typing it into the system then filling it by counting out the pills and having the pharmacist verify it then checking it out at the register. Of course there is just one person in each spot like a production line, but that is the way it goes.
WELL today I was able to do something that our pharmacy does not do often...Compound.
Compounding is where you mix drugs together to make another drug. Doctors write the prescription then it is made using what the doc writes. Of course you have to do all this math to know what and how much you give. Our pharmacy usually only compounds a mouthwash, diaper rash med. I guess just those two which I think the diaper med has only been done a few times and the mouthwash is actually pre-made and in a kit now.
Today I was trying to type in a prescription and realized there was not a suspension of this drug available and I asked our new pharmacist, who by the way is awesome. He said oh we have to make it and I was like WHAT??? HOW???
Well, he showed me and I got to make it. It is very simple. Yet it was so so fun cause I had not done it before. He said “This is the fun part of pharmacy.”
I crushed up the pills using this thing that I can not remember the name of. Then we mixed it with a suspension which then made it to where the child could take it. He added grape flavor and there it was. He said it is the worst tasting medicine ever.....and well it is! Ha!
I'm sure this is boring to everyone but to me it was the best day ever and makes me know that I do love what I do!

Time to Catch-up
Gosh I have not posted in a long time. I went to my best friend, Kristi's house this weekend. It was a great weekend. I got to spend some much needed friend time with her and her family as well as my sister and one of her children. Gabriela had a cheer competition in dallas. Her team won 1st place!
We cut my sisters hair on saturday night at her friend karen's house. We are donating 10 inches to locks of love. I got the joy of chopping the 10 inches off! Then karen made it even. It is much shorter than Selena would have wanted but it is so so cute and now she looks more modern than the long stuff she had before.
The finished product, so simple but so cute!
My sister and her boyfriend are cleaning out an old house of his mothers and she is giving them everything in there to sale or throw away she doesn't care she just wants to get rid of it. I found this lovely ski jacket! ha!! I hope to go to colorado soon! haha if you want to buy it I could part with it for the right price!
I will post pictures later of our trip to san antonio (i don't have many, and from this weekend but my back hurts and i'm sleepy so later)

Another pissed of customer!
I am sick of people telling me I or my coworkers are idiots, only to be followed by "oh i'm at the wrong pharmacy" or "oh I already picked that up" OR "I just talked to my doctor, he is calling it in right now."
I understand that I along with my co-workers do make mistakes. However, we do not overcharge you because we want our cut. Nor do we tell you we do not have a prescription for you because we want to keep it. If your doctor hasn't called it in it is not my fault. If you were there when he called it then I don't know why it isn't there. I have been to the doctor and NEVER has he called a prescription in, in front of me.
My point is.....tonight this lady came in to pick up a prescription. the computer said it was filled, but i could not find it. Usually in this case we just print a new label and fill it again so the customer doesn't wait, BUT before we do that we look in the system to make sure it has not already been picked up. Since the prescription was filled 3 days ago I checked and sure enough it was picked up yesterday. She quickly, not nicely tells me that it has not been picked up. Then we have to go through the pick-up sheets to see who picked it up. Well after a few mins. of looking and not finding I asked my pharmisist what he wanted to do (since it is his call). He says oh just fill it again. That is what I was going to do and tell her.
BUT this old hag decides to come and say "what is the deal, I didn't pick it up" I said "Well we were looking to see who did" Before I can say but the pharmisist says we can fill it. She says "this is ridiculous this happens everytime, I'm calling my insurance company and letting them know about this blah blah blah" The woman would not let me talk she just kept all telling me I was an idiot, and how vaulable her time was. I had agreed with her and listened to a little to much when I said. "I know your time is vaulable that is why i'm not going to make you sit here for the next 2 hours while I go through these labels, I have talked to the pharmisist, do you want to know what he said" (because she kept butting in to tell me I was dumb) Then she said it the excuse I am sick of hearing "THIS HAPPENS EVERYTIME I COME IN HERE" I not so nice say "oh really everytime you come in here we tell you your prescription has already been picked up" she replies "no" I again not very nice say "well then don't say everytime cause this is the first."
I am usually very nice but there is only so much I can handle and she just rubbed me the wrong way. She was given her meds at no charge and it took a whole 2mins. not counting the 7 she chose to spend arguing with me. I guess her time is not that vaulable!
I found out what happened to her presciption and it was picked up by someone with the exact same name! Honest mistake (that i did not make), I called the lady she is bringing it back and she already knew it.
Point is we do what we can and fix what we screw up, AND "DON'T SAY IT ALWAYS HAPPENS WHEN IT NEVER HAS!!"
I HATE THIS TOWN!

I'm taking it back.....
A few post ago, I said......."I would rather have the flu than strep." Well I'm taking it back because having the flu sucks! I have been sick for 1 entire week and there is nothing I can take to make me better. With strep I could at least get a zpak and feel better in 2 days. I don't think I am fully recovered, but I can not spend one more freaking day in this house. I went to buy a paper today and realized I had not been out of the house in 2 days. That is just crazy! Tomorrow I go back to normal life. I will go to class in Commerce and Mckinney. Then Tuesday I will go to class and work. I have missed a entire week of work also. Which well that has been nice. I has been nice to have had a week of not being called and idiot by some redneck that can't remember the last time they picked up their pain pills.

Moving.....sucks!
A few weeks ago I had the weekend off and I was actually not going anywhere. It was the weekend before school started. I spent that entire weekend unpacking my room and organizing it. I figured it was time since we had lived in this house for what 6 months or so. HA! The next weekend Jana said that Scotty wanted to move in for a little while and she would give him her room and she would just sleep on the couch.
I said only a Nazi would make an old crippled lady sleep on the couch. I can move in your room and Scotty and Addisyn can have my room. It is a hot room anyway. So I moved EVERYTHING that was in my room into jana's room and we are cramped. Last night apparently Scotty and Jana talked about how Shelby's room was the biggest and that if we wanted to switch he would move everything. Ok, so he plants this great idea into his moms head then he leaves to play poker tonight and I'm stuck moving it all AGAIN the 3rd time I have had to move and organize my stuff and let me remind you......I HAVE THE FLU! Shelby is yelling come on what are you doing and I'm screaming "I'm tired I HAVE THE FLU!!!"
I get a little bit of energy but not enough to move 3 beds, 2 tvs, dressers and other crap! Now I'm all unorganized and I have homework to do that I have not finished because I have been sick all week and all I want to do is watch greys anatomy and lay in bed.
I'm just going to have to let myself be unorganized for a little while and when scotty comes home with his big winnings he can move the beds! ha!

Oh man!
I just realized when I was going to put pictures from this weekend on my computer that......I left it at my sisters house! That just stinks! I don't know when I will be back there to get it. I also left my $10 glass from the rainforest cafe. It lights up! :)
I feel like total crap.......this morning I got up and thought hmmmm.....I'm feeling better so I gathered some clothes and starte doing laundry and when I finished getting them in the washer I thought I was going to faint! I don't think I'm better yet.
I at cereal today with soy milk......It was pretty much the same as regular milk.
My computer broke a while back and I got it fixed but I have to re-install my printers and stuff. It sucks cause I can not find my printer disk and my teacher emailed me a test. Now I have to go and find a place that I can print it out at. I'm going to try the library here and if I can't then I will have to drive all the way to school and do it there. After I take a nap cause I'm feeling a little ick right now.
I wonder if I'm still contagious??? I hope not cause I have to print that.

I have the flu........
Yes I have the flu just came from my school doctor. It was a little weird diffrent from a real doctor. Doesn't really matter fact is I have the flu. Doc say I will be sick 7-10 days. No school, No work.
Truth is I feel bad but I have had strep throat twice in my life and those 2 times I felt were the end of my life. I remember laying on my bed with my arms hanging off saying this is it, this is death. I may take this back later but for right now I can say I'm blessed to have the flu and not strep!
I took the best precautions to not catch anything from those people in the pharmacy and still I caught the flu.
I'm off to get some sprite and soup!
p.s. scotty is in a rotten mood!

Small towns, some love them I hate em......
Because I have been feeling ill I choose to skip school again today. Just so I can spend a little more time resting and hopefully kick this illness out of my house. I'm out of orange juice, water taste nasty when I'm sick, all I want is orange juice. I don't want to have to go anywhere so I'm having to drink some grape juice we have. I would rather have orange juice.
Ok the small town bit. I'm sitting here listening to Jana on the phone with a neighbor and they have been chatting oh about 15 min. Just long enough for them to discuss where all the neighbors are. You know "why is so and so not home? She is off work today." It drives me nuts living where people are so concerned with what is going on with others. I'm telling you this town is like living one another planet. We call it Suffering Springs and let me tell you that is what it is. I can not wait to be finished with school and not have to live in this town with all these toothless and ruthless drug addicts.
I made a deal with myself this morning that if i stayed home from school I would read my chapters. I guess I better do that. (gosh i'm starting to go crazy, making deals with myself. I have been in this town to long) If my teeth begin to fall out I will move right away! ha!

The Skinny Bitch
This has quickly become my favorite new book. Kristi told me about it and I have begun sharing it with everyone I know. I think I have told 4 people so far that they could borrow it after I am done.
Tonight I read the chapter about You are what you eat, I am now fully grossed out by how meat is raised and slaughtered. I think that I may need to try the way of Tiffy and be a vegan. I don't know that I will be able to but if the images I just read stay in my head I don't think it will be that hard.
This book is all about what foods are good for your body and such. It tells you how to be healthy and how what you think is healthy really isn't. It rules out most of what I eat which is why I'm fat. To be a true skinny bitch I need to eat what they suggest which is lots of organic and tofu. I have been craving fruits and vegtables like crazy the last few weeks.
My sweet Brie told me that she thought I was looking a little thinner. I'm starting to feel a little healthier and hopefully this book will give me the kick to feeling even better.
I love orange juice 100% orange juice!!! I just love it! I have drank 56oz in the last 24 hours!!!

Hello!!
I have nothing at the moment to say I just needed one post up.
I had an enjoyable weekend with my sister and her children. The girls were in a cheer competition and it was fun. Last year I dressed with my best friend Kristi as a cheerleader. This year the girls begged me not to, so I didn't there were many parents and coaches sad to not have the spirit that came along with my cheer uniform. There is still one more competition on the 14th that Brie is in. Aleigh says I can wear my uniform there because I will not embarrass her.
The girls both ran fever all weekend and were still able to perform and do there best. Aleigh did all her tumble passes including her back tuck that she just started doing and she had no touch downs! Brie was the middle of her pyramid and looked great. She was great with all her flying.
Alex is starting to love to skateboard, I think he is going to be the next Rob Dyrdeck, every time the van stopped he would jump out with his skateboard and skate a little. He loved the hotel cause there were some sweet jumps for him.
I am now feeling ill, I have been in the bed all day long. I feel as if I need to get back to bed soon. I hope I feel good enough for school and work tomorrow.
